But someday, you're going to find someone who will make you feel that you are the best thing that has ever happened to them. They will fight for you. They will assure you and make you feel secure. They will be honest and will show you not the perfect kind of love but a very real kind of love. They will show consistency and you will be well-taken care of. They will value you and won't give up on you. They will hold you and choose you every single day— despite the circumstances. Someday, you're going to be the best thing that will ever happen to someone and you will believe it because finally, you are being loved rightly.

I hope you find the courage to step away from the things that aren't good for you.  I hope you find the strength to let go of the person who feels like "the one" but doesn't work out for you, all along. I hope you find the will to throw away all your what-ifs from the open doors that could lead you to a wrong path. I hope you find peace in accepting that "just because it's beautiful, doesn't mean it's meant for you."  And in the end, I hope you still believe that your heart, your feet, and your dreams will eventually find a place where they truly belong.

The truth is that people believe they know you, that you're okay or that you're in a position where you're proud of yourself and optimistic about how things are going for you.  They believe you're fine because they interpret things based on their perception and connect certain facts they believe they are comfortable with to paint a picture of you based on their vision, unaware that this is all an illusion.
